The Arcvise is a workpiece positioning tool built for precise, detailed hand work. Its constant center of rotation keeps your workpiece in focus, under your light, and right where you need it — no matter how you reposition it.

Large bearing surfaces and a powerful braking system hold the work steady while you work. A single lever controls the feel of the entire mechanism, from light and smooth to rock solid.

We plan to offer a wide range of interchangeable work holding options for workpieces of any shape, and will also publish interface drawings if you wish to make your own.

Every machined component is made in Nova Scotia, Canada, using Canadian materials and services wherever possible.  A functioning prototype is currently under evaluation. An initial run of ten Founder's Edition units is in progress.​
